* Zero deductible offered for out-of-pocket expenses applies to specific services only and is subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement between EFS Restore and the homeowner/tenant. This offer may not cover all costs associated with restoration and is dependent upon the scope of work. It does not absolve the homeowner/tenant of their responsibility towards their insurance company, including but not limited to payment of insurance deductibles or premiums. The zero deductible offer does not imply that EFS Restore will pay for any costs not covered by the homeowner’s insurance policy. It is the responsibility of the homeowner/tenant to fully understand their insurance policy, including the scope of cover and deductible amounts. Any disputes or complaints arising from insurance claims or processes should be directed to the homeowner’s/tenant’s insurance provider. EFS Restore does not take any responsibility for decisions made by insurance companies.

Yes! A damaged home or business can contain numerous hazards, not all of which are easily identifiable. Don’t put yourself at risk – leave it to the trained professionals at EFS! We are the one-stop shop for all your restoration needs.

Fire damage repair and restoration is a multifaceted process. It begins with proper documentation of the claim (damage), followed by the assessment and intervention of emergency services leading to the final repair and restoration of the affected property.

There are three major types of smoke damage, each with its own recommended cleanup protocol. EFS uses test swabs to identify smoke damage on site and works with independent testing laboratories to determine the nature and severity of the damage and recommend cleaning procedures.

An unusual smell can also indicate prior fire or smoke damage, as can sooty discoloration of walls and ceilings. Rust on metal in locations far from moisture sources can also be indicative of smoke or fire damage.

Some of the most obvious signs of water damage are the rapid growth or buildup of mold and mildew, which is often first noticeable by the musty smell. Signs of more significant damage or damage occurring over a length of time can include warping, swelling or separating of building materials.

No. The longer a building remains untouched post-flood, the more dangerous it becomes. Depending on the severity of the damage, protective equipment may be required when reentering a flooded home. Flooding can introduce airborne and waterborne contaminants, hazards like mold and mildew can spread quickly, and standing water may conceal dangerous objects. Structural damage to walls and floors can lead to the risk of a collapse but may not be clearly visible. Water can disturb contaminants already in place as it moves through the structure of your home.

Always have your property assessed by a licensed professional before making any decisions.

Common effects of water damage can include: discoloration of walls and ceilings; bubbling and peeling of paints; loosening or lifting of tiles; warping, swelling, buckling, and delamination of building materials; mold growth; bacterial growth; rotting of wood, rusting of metal fixtures; and damage to electrical systems and devices.

Depending on the extent of the damage, drying process used, and environmental variables, it can take anywhere from two to ten days to completely dry a home or building. Typical dry times run around three to five days.

EFS assigns an Account Manager to every new claim, lending our expertise to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible. Our experienced Account Managers work with you every step of the way, communicating and coordinating throughout the entire repair process.

If the damages fall under your property and casualty policy we offer direct billing. You provide the claim number and EFS assists in contacting the insurer and making the necessary arrangements for your claim to be properly adjusted.

If your insurance policy has a deductible, EFS will work to absorb the cost into the work performed.

Our goal at EFS is to provide a no money out of pocket experience for the client.

As long as a fire is not set deliberately and there is no finding of criminality (e.g., arson), the damage should be covered by your homeowner’s insurance policy. Most homeowner’s policies will not cover fires caused by an act of war.

The smartest and safest answer to this question is simple: don’t worry about your belongings when your health and safety could be at risk. Most homeowners will have the contents of their home covered by their insurance policy – remember, things can be replaced but you are irreplaceable!

Additional work is contracted separately but in conjunction with repair and remediation contracts.

If the asbestos has been disturbed or will be during the repair process, it is necessary to have an asbestos abatement performed by a licensed asbestos contractor. After the abatement, a final air clearance is performed to ensure removal of all dust and debris and that air quality meets all state and federal regulations.

Following a demolition, the affected structure will undergo the removal and cleanup phase, performed by the restoration contractor, and then a building contractor will conduct the reconstruction. EFS is a full-service contractor and can handle all or part of the process.

Some companies only provide board-up services for doors, windows, and roofs, leaving the remainder of the work to another. EFS offers these services as part of the total package.

Some restoration companies only offer a limited selection of services. EFS is a full-service company, and we are happy to handle the build-back portion of your job.

Pricing for materials and labor are standardized throughout the industry.

No. Emergency services are considered necessary and above and beyond the damages incurred.
